♟️ICT4D strategy

Who Make Up the ICT4D Stakeholders and the Ecosystem?

The ones Involved: ICT4D includes actors from different areas, for instance government, NGOs, donors, community groups and technology suppliers.  Stakeholders form a group, acting together to develop an ICT environment in which each party is important for developing and running the programs.

2. ICT4D Strategy Has Three Important Questions:

What is the status of our work at the moment?

In such a situation, we need to examine what we have now regarding technology, databases and communications, as well as the existing social/economic conditions.

What Are Our Long-term Aim?

With such a focus, it becomes essential to have specific purposes for the project such as matching it with nationwide or international agendas so the activity has real impact.

How will we be able to make progress towards these goals?

That, basically, means coming up with a plan. It’s important to choose the suitable members, plan the information systems and select tasks depending on their benefits, costs and whether they are possible.  All in all, ICT4D is mainly about engaging with all stakeholders and having a proper plan that leads to setting goals and choosing the right technology to achieve them together.
